Steering arm bush Summary
A very common failure on the Amazon, 1800 and 140/164 series is the steering idler arm bush. Replacement modern rubber bushes start to disintegrate in a short time causing the steering to feel vague and often heavy. THe worn part is often a cause of rejection at MOT / TUV / CT inspection
KDL have developed this replacement bushing using materials that will not wear yet can be mounted in place of the original without modification. Installation of this new bush gives more direct steering improving road feel.
